What we integrate
The systems your Shopify Plus store needs to talk to.
Every integration we build connects Shopify to a system of record somewhere else in your business. We've built integrations across every category below — and we're happy to tell you honestly when a native app does the job better than a custom build.

Unified inventory across online and in-store, loyalty balances that follow the customer, buy online / pick up in store done right.
Shopify POS · Lightspeed · Square · Clover · Vend / Lightspeed Retail
PIM & product data
One place to manage product content, pushed cleanly into Shopify with the images, metafields and translations each market needs.
Akeneo · Plytix · Salsify · inRiver · Pimcore
Customer support & CX

Gorgias · Zendesk · Intercom · HubSpot Service · Freshdesk · Kustomer
Custom APIs & bespoke
Pricing engines, loyalty programs, legacy inventory systems, your in-house tooling — if it has an API (or an SFTP endpoint), we can integrate it.
Custom REST and GraphQL APIs · SFTP / EDI feeds · Shopify Flow · Functions · Hydrogen
Integration patterns
Four shapes of integrations, chosen for the job.
Not every integration should be a webhook, and not every integration should be a nightly job. The right pattern depends on how fresh the data needs to be, how much it changes, and what breaks when it goes out of sync.
Real-time webhooks
Order placed, inventory adjusted, customer created — Shopify fires a webhook, your other system reacts within seconds. The right pattern for anything that drives operational action: fulfillment, finance posting, customer sync.
Scheduled ETL / batch
Nightly or hourly jobs that extract, transform and load bulk data. The right pattern for catalog imports, large customer migrations, reporting rollups, and anything the receiving system can't take in real time.
Event-driven with Flow & Functions
Business rules fire on specific events — big orders routed to a reviewer, high-value customers tagged, out-of-stock items pulled from campaigns. Built on Shopify Flow and Shopify Functions, maintainable by your team.
Bidirectional sync with conflict resolution
The hardest kind. Customer or inventory data changes on both ends and the integration decides who wins. We build these with explicit conflict rules, idempotency keys and audit logs so you can trace every change.
Common projects
What we actually build.
Replatform
Shopify + NetSuite real-time sync
Orders, customers, inventory and refunds flowing between Shopify Plus and NetSuite within seconds, with full idempotency and a Slack alert when anything fails.
B2B
Punchout to Ariba with cXML catalog
Enterprise B2B buyers punch out from Coupa or Ariba to a Shopify-powered catalog, pricing per contract, PO numbers written back to Shopify draft orders.
WMS
Shopify + 3PL order and inventory bridge
Orders routed to the nearest warehouse, inventory held during fulfillment, tracking and ship confirmations back to Shopify with the right customer email timing.
Finance
QuickBooks and Xero posting with tax reconciliation
Every Shopify order posted into QuickBooks or Xero as the right transaction type, Shopify Payments deposits matched to the Shopify payouts report, no manual journal entries.
Marketing
Klaviyo + HubSpot bidirectional customer sync
Shopify customers and purchase events into Klaviyo for lifecycle marketing, enriched profiles back to HubSpot CRM for sales, with explicit field-level mapping and conflict rules.
Custom
Shopify + legacy inventory system via SFTP
The customer's 15-year-old inventory system only speaks SFTP. We build the bridge: scheduled imports, exception handling, retry logic, and a dashboard the operations team actually looks at.
How we build integrations
Discovery first, code second.
-
Discovery
Map every data flow, every field, every edge case. Interview the people on each system. Deliver an integration architecture document and a fixed-price proposal before writing code.
-
Architecture
Pick the right pattern for each flow. Design for failure — idempotency, retries, backoff, dead-letter queues, observability. Review the plan with your IT and ops teams before build.
-
Build
Shopify-side logic in Flow, Functions or custom apps. Middleware when needed, built on standards (Node, TypeScript, Postgres, whatever's maintainable by your team). Full test coverage before go-live.
-
Launch & maintain
Dry-run in staging. Pilot with a subset of orders or customers. Full cutover with monitoring in place. Documented runbooks, and a retainer if you want us to keep an eye on it.
ERP integration deep dive
Shopify ERP integration, done properly.
Shopify integrations with ERPs are the most common — and the most commonly broken. The pattern that works: Shopify is the storefront system of record, your ERP stays the system of record for inventory, pricing, orders and customers. Every integration we build respects that split. Here's how we approach the four ERPs that come up most often with Plus merchants.
Shopify NetSuite integration
NetSuite is the most common ERP among Plus brands at the $10M–$150M range. We build the integration two ways: using NetSuite's SuiteTalk SOAP or RESTlets for most flows, with Celigo or Boomi as an iPaaS layer when the merchant already has that stack. Customers, orders, inventory, item master data and refunds all sync in real time, with scheduled catalog pushes for bulk updates. Multi-subsidiary and multi-location NetSuite accounts handled, with the right subsidiary and location logic baked into every record.
Shopify SAP integration (S/4HANA and ECC)
SAP integrations lean on OData services or SAP Integration Suite, with a middleware layer (MuleSoft, Boomi, or a custom Node service) handling the mapping between Shopify and SAP data models. Material master and pricing from SAP into Shopify, orders and customers from Shopify into SAP, with the right IDoc or BAPI calls for the SAP side. We handle the edge cases: unit-of-measure conversions, pricing procedure overrides, SAP's famously strict required-field rules, and the dreaded SAP company-code logic.
Shopify Oracle integration
For Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud, we build the integration through Oracle Integration Cloud, direct REST APIs, or a custom middleware depending on the Oracle version and the merchant's existing Oracle tooling. Real-time order and customer sync, scheduled catalog and pricing updates, and inventory in sync between the two systems. The Oracle side is almost always the hardest part — we work with your Oracle team or bring in an Oracle specialist when needed.
Shopify Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration
Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations are both well-supported by Shopify integrations, through the Dynamics 365 Web API or OData services. We've built these integrations for both direct connections and iPaaS-mediated ones (Logic Apps, Power Automate, or custom middleware). Native Microsoft tooling means the ongoing cost is lower than SAP or Oracle integrations, and the Dynamics 365 data model maps cleanly to Shopify's.
Shopify integration FAQ
Questions buyers ask us first.
How long does a Shopify integration project take?
A straightforward integration (one system, one data flow) runs 4–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. A full ERP integration with real-time sync, bidirectional flows and multiple edge cases runs 10–16 weeks. We give you a fixed timeline after discovery, not a rough estimate.
How much does a Shopify ERP integration cost?
Shopify NetSuite integrations start around $40,000 USD for a straightforward real-time sync. SAP and Oracle integrations start closer to $75,000 USD because the ERP side is more complex. Dynamics 365 falls between. Prices are fixed after discovery and include launch support — no time-and-materials proposals.
Should we use an iPaaS like Celigo or Boomi, or a custom integration?
Depends on the scope. For a handful of standard flows with well-defined connectors, iPaaS is faster to build and easier to maintain. For bespoke business logic, high volume, or unusual data models, a custom integration is cheaper over 3+ years and faster at runtime. We'll give you an honest recommendation during discovery.
Can the integration go both ways?
Yes, and bidirectional sync is often the right pattern for customers, inventory and product data. We design explicit conflict resolution rules up front (which system wins which field), add idempotency keys to prevent duplicates, and keep an audit log so you can trace every change back to its source.
Who maintains the integration after it's launched?
You can, with the runbooks and training we hand over. Many clients prefer a Hopatoo retainer so we handle monitoring, exception resolution, API deprecations and schema changes on both ends. Retainer tiers scale with the number of integrations and the response window you need.
How do you handle security and data privacy in integrations?
We follow Shopify Partner security guidelines, use OAuth and signed webhooks for every endpoint, never store customer PII in middleware longer than the integration requires, and sign DPAs and MSAs on request. For PII-heavy integrations we recommend an audit of what data actually needs to cross systems — often less than the first proposal assumes.
